I went to my garage today (aka, walmart) to change the oil in the engine. After 6 quarts of oil and new oil filter I am ready for 3000 more miles of fun!

Engine maintanence
Since we put almost 3000 miles on the motor driving it out here, it would be a good idea to do an oil change. I didn't have time to do it today, but I did have time to grab the essential supplies- drain pan, oil filter, funnel, drain plug washer and 6 quarts of oil, which is how much oil this motor takes. I will most likely do the job next weekend. O, yea... if you noticed, this picture was taken in the RV. I went there today and ran the motor for a while and checked things out to make sure everything is ok. (I just wanted to go see it) :-)

Dress for success!
I had some extra clothes that I was planning on donating about a month ago. I am glad that I procrastinated donating them because now I went through them again and picked out the items I wanted to have in the RV. I got about 6 longsleeves and 10 shortsleeves. One less thing to pack when I go camping!

Bathroom supplies
I wanted bathroom supplies so I do not need to transfer all my stuff when I go camping because I will forget something, haha. So here are the essentials- toothbrush, paste, floss, mouthwash, shampoo, aloe vera, sun lotion, deodorant, insect repellant.

Home depot
As I was shopping for my needed business supplies, I found some items that I wanted for the RV. I bought a pruning saw and wood saw so I can be ready to gather my own firewood, 2 levels because the other levels have seemed to disappear and 'CLR Cleaner' for the heavy duty kitchen and bath cleaning.

Do Not Disturb
Since Stu can't keep the motorhome at his house, he needed a place to store it. We headed over to Sweetwater Springs Self Storage Unit in Spring Valley to get it all set up.

First things first: Stu had to rid of the waste from the camper! Yuck.

This is the sink next to the dump so Stu can clean up after getting rid of waste.
Lucky parking spot! He got one next to a vintage Mercedes!

Even though Stu won't get to drive the motorhome every day, we know it will have a happy life on its down days -- just look at its amazing view of the mountains. |
All set! Time to call it a day. The motorhome needs its beauty sleep.
Stu will be updating the blog with his new adventures.
As for now, it's been a blast! See ya!
