I wanted to get another set of wheel covers because the rear wheels were being hit by the sun. These came with bungee cords so the cover does not fall off.
I also bought a window cover. I got this one because it can roll down. The advantage is that when I am camping, I can roll down the side window and windshield section so I can see out, but no one can see in, and the sun will still be deflected.
The sections just Velcros off and rolls down.
This is the side window rolled down. See! .... you can not see in....
...but you can see out!

Complete Interior Detail Cleaning!
I thought it was a good time to wash the carpet and floor. Momma C did a great job scrubbing the floor in Philly, but I wanted to use Kenny's machine! Kenny has an industrial carpet/floor cleaning machine. He used to own and operate a carpet cleaning business for 10 years and still uses the same machine.
Before we started up the machine, I needed to vacuum to get up all the dry dirt.
Next step was to scrub the floor with a solution that Kenny made which would break up all the dirt that was embedded in the linoleum.
Just a close up of me, its a random picture.
Next step was the machine. The machine has two hoses going to the head unit. The yellow hose is the washing/soapy solution that sprays on the carpet, and the blue hose is the vacuum that sucks up all the soap, dirt and debris.
Tackling every little nook and cranny!
Deep clean under the table.
I can tell this was poppy's favorite chair because the arm rests were slightly discolored. But the machine brought this chair back to its original condition!
Kenny smiling because he is happy that his machine conquered this chair.
We drained the machine after we were done. Check out the color of the water that came out!
New carpet! Wow! I could not believe it. I kept staring with astonishment that it looked so new!
No black spots!
Cleaned the front mats, under the mats and between the seats too!
Sweet!
So clean!
Super close up picture to show you how clean it is!

Quiet vent!
On the drive across the nation I was listening for sounds that may be able to be fixed so they do not make pesky noises when driving. I fixed two of those noises yesterday.
First one: Oven vent. As you can see the flap on the inside is hanging lop-sided. The reason is the hinge broke. So when I am driving the wind catches the flap and rattles it back and forth. The best fix was to remove this one and install a new one!
There is a putty to install on the back of the vent so it seals itself from mother nature.
Here is the new one installed! It is clean looking and has little levers to lock the vent so it will be quiet!
Second one: Ceiling fan vent cover. The vent cover has a metal bar that allows the cover to be lifted when in use and closed when stored. The metal bar broke away from the cover so the cover would get lifted up and slammed down randomly when driving.
The cover to the right you can see the metal piece is detached.
Here is Kenny helping me. I took the picture from the roof looking down at him. I needed him to move the arm up to lock in the new cover and then move the arm down to screw in the new cover.

Generator Maintenance
I had some extra time after my appointments yesterday, so guess what I did?.... I went to the storage unit and pulled out the RV and cruised around town. First I went to La Mesa RV to get some parts. Then I drove it to my friend's house, which is Kenny's, to work on it. He has plenty of street and driveway room with all the tools I will ever need.
First up on the the day's agenda was the generator. I replaced all of the maintenance items I could. That includes the air filter, spark plug, fuel filter and oil.
Guess which air filter is the old one?!
New spark plug equals more efficient power!
The fuel filter was a little tougher to get to, but it needed to be replaced.
The oil was very dark coming out and very clear going in. The first time I started it up after the changes, it started so fast and ran super smooth!!!

New tunes!
There was nothing wrong with the stereo, but I am addicted to my ipod, so I wanted a stereo that I could play my ipod. This one actually has its own ipod docking station and a remote so I can control it from the coach, sweet!
